The RAC show bags took 5 weekends to pack just in time for Ramadan. Plenty of Man2oosh (Oregano pizza) went a long way to make sure the volunteers had the energy to last the whole way.

As thousands of Muslim Aussies will be fasting during work hours, it is very important that employers around the country know the facts about Ramadan so that they can make informed business decisions and strive to better understand their valued employees.
One of these employers, Railcorp, has gone to the great effort of putting a section into the company newsletter. Fantastic and well done. See newsletter snapshot below:

Peace be upon you all
Welcome to the Ramadan 1429 /2008 awareness campaign new website!
We feel honored and blessed to have the chance to contribute to the spread of Islamic awareness through the blessed month of Ramadan. Not only is it an obligation to help clear misconceptions about Islam and Muslims in Australia and the wider world community, but it is also a rewarding and self motivational act that helps Muslims participate and engage with their fellow peers, neighbors, workmates and society as a whole.
Allah (swt) says in the Quran 2.22: "That (shall be so); and whoever magnifies the signs of Allah, this surely is (the outcome) of the piety of hearts."
We really hope that our new website will add to your personal experience of Ramadan this year.
